Developing a shared vision for ICT

This assignment should be completed after the last activity of the module. Most of the activities in the module will assist you towards completing the assignment.

What to do:

2. Devise and implement a detailed strategy for developing a shared vision for ICT at your school. Include the following:
   • A presentation outlining your strategy and an explanation of the options you have at each stage and why you have made the decisions that you have. Include content developed in Activities 7-9
• Principles of leadership in ICT
• Learning area visions
• Motivation for change
• What changes you would like to see
• Schedule for development of this vision
  
3. Hold a series of meetings in which you share this vision with members of the school management and ICT committee.
   • Record who you meet including:
     • The purpose of the meeting
     • The date and time of the meeting
     • The media/resources that you took to the meeting
     • The outcome of the meeting
     • A reflection on the meeting
       • how this meeting has helped you to achieve your strategy
       • how you need to change your strategy as a result of the meeting

You gave sound reasons for your decisions	Maximum of 10
You have created a presentation that shares your vision for ICT at the school	Maximum of 30
You recorded each meeting	Maximum of 5
You reflected on each meeting and allowed it to influence your strategy	Maximum of 20
You supported important meetings with media resources	Maximum of 10
You evaluated the success of your shared vision strategy and made recommendations for further action	Maximum of 20

What to submit:

Either

Save the presentation as Country_Module9_Your_Name_Assignment2 and replace Country with your country name and YourName with your own name.

e.g. Grenada_Module9_Anne_Wilson_Assignment2.ppt

Or

Place your presentation in a Google Drive presentation format and link it from your main assignment template file.

Save the template with your record and analysis of your meetings in one file called Country_Module9_Your_Name_Assignment2e.g. Grenada_Module9_Anne_Wilson_Assignment2.doc

Submit the saved document(s) as file attachment(s) in e-mail to assessment@schoolnet.org.za (using the subject heading "Leadership - Assignment 2 ").
